Full Renovation of 170 sq.m.
This 170 square meter apartment in Psychiko underwent a complete transformation through a full-scale renovation project, redefining both its spatial organization and technical infrastructure. The objective was to create a contemporary, high-functioning residence that meets modern living standards while maintaining architectural clarity, durability, and long-term value.
Completely New Layout & Spatial Reconfiguration
The apartment was redesigned from the ground up, with a completely new internal layout.The new configuration includes:

- A maid/service room with a dedicated bathroom
- Guest WC
- Open and fluid common areas that enhance natural light and spatial continuity
This reconfiguration required precise coordination between architectural planning and engineering execution, as none of the bathrooms existed in their current locations prior to the renovation.
Engineering Challenge: Plumbing for Five Bathrooms
One of the most demanding aspects of the project was the design and installation of plumbing infrastructure for five bathrooms within an existing apartment structure. This involved:
- Complete replacement of the old plumbing network
- Careful routing of supply and drainage lines through structural constraints
- Precise slope calculations for waste pipes to ensure flawless operation
- Integration of multiple vertical and horizontal runs without compromising ceiling heights or architectural aesthetics
Each bathroom was designed to function independently, with high reliability and ease of maintenance, while remaining fully compliant with modern standards.
Custom Fabricated Bathroom Sinks
All bathrooms feature custom-fabricated sinks, designed specifically for the apartment. These bespoke elements required millimeter-level coordination between plumbing rough-ins, finishes, and final installation, ensuring both visual consistency and technical precision.
New Electrical & Mechanical Systems
The apartment received a completely new electrical installation, including:
- New electrical panel and circuits
- Modern lighting design with ambient and functional layers
- Infrastructure for contemporary appliances and smart living requirements
Heating was upgraded to a natural gas system,ensuring energy efficiency and thermal comfort throughout the residence.
Energy Efficiency Upgrades
To enhance performance and reduce energy consumption, the apartment was upgraded with:
- External thermal insulation
- New aluminium window systems, improving thermal and acoustic insulation
These interventions significantly improve the apartment’s energy profile while contributing to long-term sustainability.
Interior Finishes & Custom Elements
- New kitchen, designed for both functionality and minimal aesthetics
- Custom wardrobes, tailored to each bedroom’s layout
- Pre-finished wooden flooring installed throughout, providing warmth, durability, and a refined visual result
The material palette balances neutral tones with texture and depth, allowing the architecture and light to define the atmosphere of the space.
